Gardens to Visit

Stone House

This 2½-acre garden has been created over the last 15 years. It is made up of a series of rooms that flow around the house each holding their own special magic.

Many woodland plants give interest and colour in the early months. The borders are full to overflowing with bulbs from March to late May, along with countless herbaceous treasures, and in summer over 65 different varieties of roses scent the garden. Autumn brings exotic colour tones from many different species of shrubs and trees. A tiny Potager with raised beds shows how to make growing vegetables easy on terrible ground. The Stream has been graded into a gently flowing water garden awash with musk-scented Primula Floridae.

This is a Garden for all Seasons.

4 Rare Plant Sales are held her each year when some of the finest Specialist Nurseries sell their treasures.
