About the Event
There’s something for everybody over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend at the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
Join in with art, painting, willow weaving, spinning and woodwork in our Great Glasshouse craft festival which also features dolls’ house, quilting, woodworkers and a display by Dinefwr Photographic Society.
Tuck into some tasty treats at our Bank Holiday food court, with plenty of local produce to try and buy, including tasty takeaway delights, waffles, pancakes, cider, honey, fudge, brownies, flapjacks, Welsh wine and liqueurs.
Be amazed by the dog and duck display that is the world-famous Quack Pack; wow to the magical stylings of Folly Farm’s favourite magician Luke Jugglestruck. And try your hand at archery.
There’s music and dancing, too, including traditional Welsh customs to celebrate Calan Mai.
And on Saturday night (May 5), there’s the latest ‘Cinema Under the Stars’ presentation with a showing of the 80s family classic ‘E.T. – The Extra Terrestrial’. To book tickets for the cinema night, visit www.thelittleboxoffice.com/cinemaunderthestars/event/view/81805
