Plas Glyn-y-Weddw is a Grade 2* listed Gothic mansion built in 1857 as a dower house and is now the home of a vibrant arts centre run by an independent charitable trust.
Terraced gardens and woodland trails were established when the house was built. Many of the exotic trees and shrubs have survived including a giant sequoia and an interwoven rhododendron. The garden was extended in 2012-13 following the purchase of a 12-acre woodland and the development of a new outdoor theatre, eco-car-park, and 3km of woodland trails.
