Hampton Court Castle, Gardens & Parkland

Asset 1

The twelve acres of stunning gardens and parkland feature flower gardens, kitchen gardens (highly acclaimed), herbaceous borders, avenues, island pavilions, canals and a 150-year old wisteria tunnel leading to expanses of sweeping lawns. The 1,000-yew maze, with a gothic tower at its centre, offers panoramic views of the gardens and a secret tunnel leads to a waterfall in the sunken garden.

You can extend your visit with a tour of the beautiful Medieval Castle dating back to Henry IV including some of the 24 sumptuous bedrooms. Then follow with lunch or afternoon tea in the 1846 award winning Joseph Paxton designed Orangery Cafe. To complete your visit why not take the River Walk to see the swans on the Lake. It is a ‘truly magical day out not to be missed’.

‘Possibly the most ambitious private garden of our time… one of the most successful public gardens in Great Britain’.
