Kiftsgate is a glorious garden to visit throughout the seasons with spectacular views to the Malvern Hills and beyond. Three generations of women gardeners have designed, planted and sustained this garden.

The upper gardens around the house are planted to give harmonious colour schemes, whilst the sheltered lower gardens recreate the atmosphere of warmer climes. Recent additions include a modern water garden which provides an oasis of tranquillity and contrast to the exuberance of the flower gardens. Also added is a perennial wild flower meadow leading through an orchard to a grass mound and tulip tree avenue.

On open days plants grown from the garden are for sale. A wide and interesting selection are always available. The tearoom in the house offers delicious homemade cream teas all through the season, and light lunches in May, June and July.

Winner of the HHA/Christies Garden of the Year award 2003
