Mount Ephraim Gardens

Asset 1

Ten acres of Edwardian gardens to explore within an 800 acre family owned estate and with stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

The rose gardens and terraces along with the Japanese rock garden and bridge combine to create a charming experience - a monument to an age gone by. Unusual topiary featuring a miscellany of birds, animals and First World War memorabilia sit alongside a traditional herbaceous border and Millennium Rose Garden abundant with scented roses. Other highlights include an arboretum, lake and water garden, many mature trees and a spectacular grass maze. With an extensive collection of spring bulbs, trees and shrubs, the gardens offer something different throughout the year. No two visits are ever the same.

The estate has been owned by the Dawes family since 1695 and is still run by the family today. It's this family touch that lends Mount Ephraim Gardens their personal charm.

The property also boasts the West Wing Tea Room plus five ensuite guest rooms and the Garden Wing sleeping 12, should you wish to stay and explore the local area.
