There a wonderful collection of over 150 different varieties of galanthus (snowdrop) at East Lambrook Manor. These are to be found growing around the garden with the bulk of them in the areas known as the Ditch and the Woodland Garden. We also have a special raised snowdrop display bed so that visitors can see choice cultivars close up and there will be additional special displays round the garden.
As part of the festival we are giving talks about Margery Fish and the snowdrops here in the garden for which there will be a small additional charge. This will include a tour of some of the more interesting snowdrops including those named after previous owners of the garden

Dianne Rickard was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease on 7th February 2018 and lost the battle against the disease on 24th August 2018. She loved “doing” things with her hands, crochet, embroidery, knitting, sewing, gardening and of course painting.
After her mothers’ death in 2011, she suddenly realised that she had 84 hours a week spare and so she took up painting as a hobby and attended classes in Glanamman and later in Carmel under the watchful eye of Sue Crossman Jones.
All proceeds from the sale of works will go to the Motor Neuron Disease Association.
