The Great Gardens of Wales is essential reading for those planning to visit Wales, as well as those lucky enough to live within this beautiful part of the British Isles. It has long been said that one of the best kept secrets in Wales is its gardens – well that secret is now well and truly out of the bag!
Tony Russell’s career with gardens, plants and trees has taken him all over the UK from Snowdonia in North Wales, to the Lake District, the New Forest in Hampshire and then to Gloucestershire where he was Head Forester at Westonbirt The National Arboretum for 14 years. He returned to Snowdonia in 2013, where he now lives and gardens on the flanks of the Moelwyn mountains just inland from Portmeirion. Widely recognised as one of Britain’s leading experts on trees, shrubs and gardens, he has appeared regularly on both TV and radio.
The books purchased on our GTV website are signed copies and it will be the only place signed copies can be obtained.
The Great Gardens of Wales is Tony’s twentieth published book.
