The Original Garden Visitor's Guide

A visit to Sandringham’s sixty-acre gardens is a delight at any time of year.

Woodland walks, lakes and streams are planted to provide year-round colour and interest; sheets of spring – flowering bulbs, avenues of rhododendrons and azaleas, beds of lavender and roses, dazzling autumn colour – there is always something to see.

Other highlights include the formal North Garden, Queen Alexandra’s summerhouse beside its own cascading stream, sixteen species of oak and many commemorative trees. Guided garden walks offered regularly.

Open Easter to mid-July and early August to mid October, 10.30am to 5pm daily (4pm in October).
