Seren Wib holiday cottage is in a stunning location on the edge of the hillside village of Rhyd on the flanks of the Moelwyns in the heart of Snowdonia (Eryri)
Our much-loved holiday cottage, has far-reaching views of both the surrounding mountains and the coast. The cosy cottage provides two-person (but there is room for a travel cot), high quality, well-equipped, comfortable accommodation and is attached to (but completely independent from) the main house of Dan y Ser.

There are numerous mountain, lake and forest walks which can be accessed directly from the cottage. The gardens of Plas Brondanw and Plas Tan y Bwlch are within walking distance of the cottage, as is Tan y Bwlch Station for the Ffestiniog Steam Railway. The Italianate Village and Gardens of Portmeirion, coastal town of Porthmadog, miles of sandy beaches, Aberglaslyn Pass and the popular village of Beddgelert as well as the famous Glaslyn Osprey Visitor Centre are all within a 15-minute drive. Further afield are the famous National Trust gardens at Bodnant, the house & garden at Plas Newydd on Anglesey and the stunning Hidden Gardens at Plas Cadnant, also on Anglesey. Heading westwards down the Llyn Peninsula, Plas yn Rhiw completes the triangle of beautiful houses & gardens within striking distance of Seren Wib. The main footpaths for climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) are also within easy reach.

Seren Wib has a beautiful, secluded garden with breathtaking views (binoculars provided), a very comfortable lounge/dining room with French doors and a little Juliet balcony as well as a fireplace with wood-burner - everything you need for long hot summer days or a winter in the hills! There is a galley kitchen and a double (or twin) bedroom with an en-suite shower wet-room with underfloor heating.

Back out in the garden there are chairs in the terraced area and a bistro set by the entrance gate. Guests are welcome to use the front garden of the main house which has a further picnic table and seating area (and gets the evening sunshine!).
N.B. There is a ramp access to the front door and the property is all on one level, ideal for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
